Francesco Ceccato

Francesco Ceccato is Chief Executive Officer of Barclays Europe, based in Dublin, where he serves on the Board of Barclays Bank Ireland PLC and leads the Barclays Europe Executive Committee. He joined Barclays in 2010 and was appointed CEO in 2020. Prior to Barclays, he held senior roles at JP Morgan, Bear Stearns, Lazard and GE Capital. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics.
