Dr. Ian Roberts
Dr. Ian Roberts has served as Chief Technology Officer at Bühler Group since 2011, where he has led the company’s digital transformation and shaped its innovation strategy with a strong focus on sustainability and customer impact. He has also driven the expansion into bio-processing through partnerships and new ventures. He is Co-Founder and President of MassChallenge Switzerland, a Board Member of RESTOR, and serves on the Board of Directors of AAK AB. Prior to this, he held various roles in innovation and business development at Nestlé. Dr. Roberts holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wales and is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He brings over 25 years of experience in the food industry and was born in 1970.
