Prof. Dr. Markus Menz - Assistant Professor of Strategic Management & Executive Director Business Management, University of St. Gallen
Prof. Dr. Markus Menz is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management and the Executive Director of the Master’s Program in Business Management at the University of St. Gallen. Before, he spent a year as a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University. He received a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and an M.A. in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen. His research focuses on strategic leadership and corporate strategy. His work has been published in leading academic and practitioner journals, such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, The European Business Review, and Harvard Business Manager.
Dr. Tim Zimmermann - Senior Partner, Roland Berger
Dr. Tim Zimmermann is a lic. oec. of the year 1988 of the HSG. He received his Doctorate also from HSG for his studies on strategic early warning systems. As a research fellow he worked with Prof. Bleicher and Prof. Gomez on the new edition of the St. Galler Management model. Since 1991 he is Senior Partner in the strategy consulting business at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. His special expertise is focusing on corporate headquarters, functional leadership issues and overhead efficiency as well as corporate transformation programs.
